Rubicon is a large cottage located in the grounds of The Lookout Cottages, Cressbrook in the heart of the Peak District.
It offers the perfect base to access the Peaks for walking, cycling or visiting the picturesque towns and villages nearby.
Rubicon offers peaceful, secluded accommodation for up to 6 (+1)adults.
Rubicon is the neighbouring cottage to The Slack. Both cottages wererenovated from former gardeners' buildings and enjoy a spectacular setting with some of the finest views in the county. The modern dining kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, and dishwasher. A large sitting room makes the most of the wonderful setting, with double doors that lead onto a large paved terrace for outdoor dining and barbecues.
Rubicon accommodates six guests in three double en-suite bedrooms. There is also a day bed in one of the bedrooms which can take another guest. There is an additional charge of £25 to use this bed.
We do allow well behaved dogs however, we ask for a payment of £25.00 per dog to cover extra cleaning.

Occasionally people find it tricky to find The Lookout Cottages, especially if arriving in the dark. The easiest way to find the cottages is by following this pin on google maps (https://goo.gl/maps/EhjrVp5UZH...), or for those of you that use What3Words; alleges.pushover.botanists. These take you to the top of our drive. Keep your eyes peeled because its easy to drive straight by! Go down the drive 150m and park in the gravel carpark.

Payment Schedule
50% of the total amount is due at time of reservation.
The remaining amount is to be paid 7 days before arrival.
