The Slack is a large cottage located in the grounds of The Lookout Cottages, Cressbrook in the heart of the Peak District.
It offers the perfect base to access the Peaks for walking, cycling or visiting the picturesque towns and villages nearby.
It offers peaceful, secluded accommodation, all on one level.
This cottage can also be booked with 1 or 2 additional cottages, Ravenscliffe and Rubicon for larger groups.
The Slack and its neighbour Rubicon have been renovated from former gardeners' buildings and enjoy a spectacular setting overlooking the Wye Valley towards Monsal Dale. The modern dining kitchen is equipped with electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave and dishwasher, whilst the comfortable sitting room features double doors leading onto a large paved terrace for outdoor dining and barbecues.
The Slack accommodates six guests in three double en-suite bedrooms.
We do allow well behaved dogs, however we ask for a payment of £25.00 per dog to cover extra cleaning.

Occasionally people find it tricky to find The Lookout Cottages, especially if arriving in the dark. The easiest way to find the cottages is by following this pin on google maps (https://goo.gl/maps/EhjrVp5UZH...), or for those of you that use What3Words; alleges.pushover.botanists. These take you to the top of our drive. Keep your eyes peeled because its easy to drive straight by! Go down the drive 150m and park in the gravel carpark.

Policy and notes
Payment Schedule
50% of the total amount is due at time of reservation.
The remaining amount is to be paid 7 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy
All paid prepayments are non-refundable.
